FLOYD Ethyl Alcohol 90° is a high-proof (90°) denatured ethyl alcohol intended for external use. It is primarily used as a sanitizer and cleaner for non-food surfaces, objects, and tools, and as a solution for local cleansing of healthy skin before non-invasive procedures.

How to use on surfaces

1. Extinguish any open flames nearby.

2. Pour a small amount onto a clean paper/cloth.

3. Pass over the surface to be treated.

4. Allow to evaporate in the air. Rinsing is not necessary on surfaces that do not come into direct contact with food.

Use on intact skin (external only, on healthy skin)

1. Soak a sterile gauze pad with a small amount of alcohol.

2. Briefly dab the area.

3. Avoid abrasions, open cuts, mucous membranes and sensitive areas.

4. Do not use as a disinfectant on open wounds: it can irritate and burn.

Important warnings and safety

• Highly flammable. Keep away from flames, sparks, hot plates, cigarettes, and heat sources.

• External use: Do not ingest, do not intentionally inhale, do not apply to mucous membranes (eyes, mouth, nose, genitals) , and do not use on open wounds or very irritated skin.

• In case of contact with eyes: rinse immediately with plenty of running water and consult a doctor if irritation persists.

• Keep away from children.

• Do not pour into unlabeled beverage bottles or containers (risk of poisoning).

• Do not use on very delicate or painted surfaces without testing in an inconspicuous area first: alcohol can discolor or dull.
